Combine coffee, sugar, molasses and spices in a coffee mug and stir to combine. Top off with hot milk. Finish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of additional spice for garnish.
Makes one 8-oz drink. Increase all amounts slightly for a larger cup size. Recipe can be scaled up to flavor a whole pot of coffee, as well.
Look at her grow, funny but she in some ways has not changed at all. She still looks so "Zoe" like in the first picture. But in other ways she has grown and changed so much. Is't it funny that this is the 3rd Christmas with our babies around
they grow up so fast! you know the ornament that Zoe is holding in the second shot? does everyone have one of those? we have one on our tree and I saw one on carrie's too, in this post http://barelycontrolledchaos.wordpress.com/2007/12/10/christmas-cheer-best-shot-monday/ you can see it in the last pic. funny, huh?

Oh no! She's not a little baby anymore. Look at her. She's a girl! She gets prettier and prettier the older she gets.
The power of photography, in three easy steps. They definitely grow too fast...I wish we could slow time down, even if just for a bit.
Hope you have a wonderful rest-of-WW. I've posted my contribution here and hope you drop by for a look around:

Oh wow, what a lovely post!! I love the idea! My photos seem very bland now :)
what a difference a year makes!
P.S. you're brave doing a big tree every year with a little one. :o)
That is awesome, Colleen! I love how you always have "the same" pic each year. That is so great.
I love seeing progressive pictures through the years - she is too cute. And getting so big . . .
You post some of the best pics!
BTW, here's a recipe for a gingerbread latte.
Homemade Gingerbread Latte
5-oz hot coffee (2/3 cup)
3-oz hot milk (1/3 cup)
2 1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp molasses
pinch ground cinnamon
pinch ground cloves
pinch ground nutmeg
pinch ground ginger
whipped cream
Combine coffee, sugar, molasses and spices in a coffee mug and stir to combine. Top off with hot milk. Finish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of additional spice for garnish.
Makes one 8-oz drink. Increase all amounts slightly for a larger cup size. Recipe can be scaled up to flavor a whole pot of coffee, as well.

Nice timeline in pictures. Next year the picture will be of her climbing the tree.

That is very sweet -- a nice time capsule. SusieJ
