Grace in Small Things - 44

1. Having the air conditioners put in (by Nick) after sweating our way through a bad nights sleep. (It's 90 degrees today!!!)

2. Watching Zoe write her name for the first time. A near perfect "Z"... a wonderful "o"... and um, yeah... sure.... that's an "e"!!! A little practice and she'll have it.

3. Driving in the car and listening to Zoe make Ana laugh hysterically... and then Zoe laughing at Ana laughing. They get going and seem to have trouble stopping.

4. Cheeseburgers on the grill.

5. The last chocolate Easter egg.

I can't believe how warm it us up there! All my northern buddies have been talking about the heat wave - and here in Texas, it's actually been cool the last couple days!

It's amazing that you take the time to realize how wonderful all the little things are, every single day. Too many of us take life for granted, me included, thanks for the reminder. O:-) Oh, and you sound very lucky in your daughter Ana, when I was little my mom would give me a pair of balled up socks to play with. She claimed I would enjoy playing them for an hour at a time! you'll have to try it! ;)

The weather has been very odd. It's supposed to cool down for us for the rest of the week and be more like our "normal spring". I'm looking forward to it.

Of course! It's with her 1st outfit and her 1st shoes and her first hair curl. sniffle sniffle.

Well... I did do it every single day in February. It left me no time for any other blog posts though. So I still do it every weekend. Sometimes it's work to think of even 5 things... but I'm glad that I do it.

Oh... and I'm positive Ana would totally love a balled up sock. It would keep her busy and happy for quite a while.
