Zoe and Ana and I are headed to Florida (in about 2 hours). We're going to visit my family again (I can't get in enough visits.)
My first time flying ALONE with the 2 girls. EEK!
I'm really only worried about 2 things.
1. Having both girls out of the huge double stroller... holding Ana... and being able to get that huge double stroller up onto the table for the x-ray machine. Hopefully I'll have some friendly travelers behind me in the security line.
2. Keeping my chunka-munk Ana on my lap for the 2 1/2 hour flight. She is a wiggling ball of energy lately. Reaching and grabbing everything. I'm sure I'll be exhausted by the time we land.
If I can get through those 2 things... nothing else has me worried. I'm going to check our bags and car seats at the curb side drop off. Zoe is a fabulous traveler. (She gets her dvd player on and does a little coloring and one Disney movie later we're landing.) Nick's parents are taking us to the airport... my parents are picking us up.
No worries, right?
Hopefully I'll get a few posts up while I'm in the sunshine state. If not... I'll at least try to log in and read up on what everyone else is doing. And at the very least... I'll get onto Facebook and update my status. (Are you one of my Facebook friends?)

I'm sending good vibes that it all goes smoothly - I think it will! I have a friend who travels all the time (maybe even more than you!!) alone with the kids, and she says it's no big deal.

I hope that it all went well - I'm sure it did!
I have traveled probably over 20x with just the girls and I and it really isn't that bad. Plus now they are seasoned little travelers now and it is super easy!
I hope you have a great time with your folks! We'll wait to hear all about it!

Brave... crazy... one way or the other we made it.? It trip went pretty well and now we're enjoying the sunshine.
It went VERY well.? I have to say... it was partially due to a very nice man sitting next to us.? We were lucky.? By the end of the flight Zoe asked if our new friend was going to come with us.? heehee
Hope you're having a great trip!

Thanks!?So far we're having a nice relaxing visit!
Zoe is a well practiced and easy traveler.? It's been a sinch to travel alone with just her.? Now we have to get Ana trained.? It all worked out well.? A nice family let me plop Ana in their umbrella stroller while I put the huge double stroller on the xray machine!? And... we had a nice older man sit with us who was happy to have Ana wiggling next to him.? Phew.?
We always have a nice time visiting. I wish they all lived closer... but if they had to move... Florida is a nice place to have to visit! So far we're having a lovely time.

I just traveled to Minosota and lucky enough I had some nice help from the security guy to get that stroller up on the belt. Hope the babies fell asleep for your flight and you had a quiet trip. Have a great time in the sunshine. enjoy
