Grace in Small Things - 61

1. The look on Ana's face as first steps are attempted.

2. The way Zoe says "air condishconer".

3. Organic ant killer that is safe to use around kids... smells like wintergreen/rosemary/vanilla... and actually kills ants on contact.

4. The joy that Zoe gets from using the hose to make rainbows... while fully dressed.

5. Carnival games where everyone wins a prize every time.

Ok, first of all...NO, NO, NO! Ana is not old enough to be trying to walk. I'm sorry. It is not possible.

Secondly - spill it. WHAT is the ant killer you are using?? Must purchase immediately.

She's not really "walking" as much as flinging herself through space and trusting that I will catch her. So far she's been lucky and I've been looking every time.

The bug killer spray is called EcoSmart. It's a white can with a green lid. It has a picture of a girl and a dog on the top section of the can. I bought it at the grocery store in the same shelf as the Raid and little ant traps. I hated using any of that stuff since the ants are in Zoe's room by her air conditioner. It killed every single ant that I saw and kept them away at least from yesterday through today. I'm still not convinced it will work long term. But... it's safe around the girls... and it doesn't smell bad... and it gets rid of the ants when I see them.
After I typed all this I found it on their website.

In the muggy DC area, I personally could not live without my "air condishconer" either.

We're in Florida now... and Ana is TOTALLY walking. Not always... but when she tries... she walks. Save me.
