Wiped out

We're back from Florida. Actually, we've been back from Florida since Sunday. We spent a week at my parents' house and then a week at the Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort in Cocoa Beach. Zoe might have gotten a little water logged... and Ana became one with the sand. We had a wonderful time and I have tons of stories to tell and pictures to share. I have so much to catch up on... and I feel like I just can't catch my breath yet. Hopefully the rest of August will include sharing what we did during June and July. How is it possibly August? I think I might need to ship myself back off to Cape Caribe and take a few more turns around the lazy river. I'm definitely not quite ready to catch up with real life.

Is anyone else having a whirlwind, rushing by, type of summer?

The Midge goes back to school next Tuesday. It seems like just last week that we started summer vacation. I'm so sad that summer's almost over....

I can hardly believe Zoe gets back to school in just a couple of weeks (she starts on 9/8)... so it's unthinkable that Shannon is already back to school. On one hand... I'm ready for Zoe to go back... and on the other hand... I am so not ready for summer to be over.

I certainly hope life feels a little slower once school starts again. Just a couple weeks now. Zoe's first day is 9/8... when is it for you?

I'm having trouble with wrapping my mind around the fact that school starts in just a couple weeks for Zoe. How did summer go by so quickly?

I wish we were just starting spring. I almost feel like I missed spring and summer.... they flew right by me. I hope your spring and summer are a little more laid back and relaxed than mine were!!!
