It's November again.
November 1st.
If you don't know why I would point that specific date out... or you are thinking "what the heck is NaBloPoMo???"... it mostly means that if you're a regular reader here you're going to suddenly be seeing about 3 times more of me than you've been seeing in the last, oh... 6-9 months or so. (Exciting, right?)
Now... what does NaBloPoMo ACTUALLY mean? It means that November has been designated as the official National Blog Posting Month. And what THAT means is that I'm am trying once again to write at least one post every single day in November.
30 posts in 30 days.
Last year I ended up with 33 posts in November. A very successful NaBloPoMo for me.
This year I'm a bit stressed about it... but I'm also excited. I've been really slacking on the blog. The last time I wrote 30 post in one month was February (go figure... the shortest month of the year and I wrote 36 posts!). And the last time I even made it to 20 posts in a month was May. My blog has been rather pathetic. I'm really hoping that NaBloPoMo will get me out of the bloggy blahs.
Like last year, I'm going to ask you... my dear readers... for a little bit of help. Maybe you'd like an update on something I've written about before and haven't thought to get back to? Maybe there is something you are curious about and have been dying to know? Maybe you just can not bear one more single day without seeing photos of our early September day trips to the Turtle Back Zoo or The Land of Make Believe (which... don't you worry... you'll be seeing them soon). Maybe you'd just like to help a NaBloPoMoer out and throw me a topic (or 30)? If you've got anything for me please feel free to leave ideas or questions in the comments or e-mail me.
Hopefully this will also get me back into Best Shot Monday and Wordless Wednesday and Grace in Small Things. Most of all... I'm hoping this gets me back into regular posting about the girls. I've been disappointing myself with my lack of Zoe and Ana posts... partially because they are so amazing and I just want everyone to know what they're up to... but mostly for selfish reasons. I love going through the old posts to find out that 2 years ago we had 104 trick or treaters compared to this years 36... or to happen upon the post where Zoe spilled the beans about my being pregnant with Ana... or to look at photos of my sweet girls when they were tiny...or sometimes just to have a laugh. I need to get back to my blogging.
Now... if Ana and Zoe are agreeable to it... let NaBloPoMo begin!!!

More power to you, girl...I'm not doing it this year!!
I LOVED that post where Zoe let the cat out of the bag....wow, almost two years ago!
It's shocking how fast time goes. When I watch that video I can't get over the fact that I ever had to coax Zoe to talk. The girl is a regular chatter box now. She barely stops talking!!! And the fact that Ana was just a belly bump at that point is unbelievable.
Looking forward to getting to know you better. This is my first NaBloPoMo-hopefully I can do it as well. They say if you do something for 30 days that it becomes habit....here's hoping.

Welcome to November....can you believe it's here already!?
Hey friend...
How do I get the code for the button?
Love this post. I'd love to know more about Zoe and her hips. How's she doing? Any current care about that?
Let's see... code for the button.
Well if you go here their are badges and directions...

The one in this post... I just scrolled down to the comments on the above link page... and then I right clicked and saved the leaf badge. I uploaded it to my post as a picture... and then I highlighted it while I was writing the post and added the url link.
Does that make sense?
I can definitely update on Zoe's hips. Thanks!

Ok Colleen, I'm in. I am a horrible blog writer, as in I lose track of time and don't write for a loooong time. I will totally consider you my inspiration and write 30 (30!!) in one month if you will help me along by reading my blog and sending others over. At the end of the month, after 30 (30!!) posts I'll be hosting a giveaway for some Etsy jewelry from my shop. Open to everyone who comments on that particular blog post! Random number generated for some cool stuff!
Off we go to post number 1! :)
I'm hoping these 30 days will get blogging back to being a habit. I just can't seem to get my enthusiasm back yet.
Thanks! I'm going to need it to get 30 posts up.
It's absolutely shocking to me that it's actually November. Where did the rest of the year go? Although, I will say that I thought October would never end.
ACK! I don't know who this is!
If you check back in PLEASE leave your name and contact info in the (somewhat confusing) comment boxes. I would love to check in and see how nablopomo is going for you!
