Ana is huge. She truly is. And she just keeps growing and growing. At 17 months she weighs almost as much as Zoe does at 4 1/2 years. It will be interesting to get her actual measurements next month at her 18 month physical.
How did you get them both to sit and not have one crying or throwing a tantrum? Please share the secret. I have yet to get both of my boys with Santa. BTW- your girls are beautiful!
I was totally shocked. I completely expected to have the picture with Nick and I both in it with the girls. (Just like our Easter bunny picture). We actually were prepared to sit right down next to Santa. I figured Zoe would be fine with Santa... but that Ana would freak out. (The Christmas when Zoe was 18 months she really had a fit... so I expected the same with Ana) But... Ana saw Santa and pretty much demanded to be freed from the stroller. She walked right over to him muttering "santa, santa, santa". Both girls just plopped right down on his lap. Stunned me. When their turn was over Ana wasn't ready to leave. She actually walked over and almost got herself into the next little boy's Santa picture too. lol
Time is definitely going too quickly. I can't believe she's already 17 months old. And Zoe is 4 1/2! It's crazy. As for the Santa vest... I'm not sure. He does wear it every year. Same vest the last year though. Before that it was just a read vest that matched his jolly red.

So fun! And I agree -- Ana has really grown up -- and so fast too...make her stop!
Unrelated: why is Santa wearing a vest?!
