This morning... at about early o'clock... Zoe woke up very upset. We are sharing a room while we're on vacation... so she just climbed up next to me to tell me a dream woke her up. I asked her if she could tell me what it was about. She told me...
"Daddy gave me a box. Inside the box was a picture of him shoveling rocks."
Um... OK. I asked if she was alright and could she go back to sleep. She said yes and climbed back into her bed and went right back to sleep.
Shoveling rocks. Hmm.

Make you wonder what else goes through their heads and what else they dream about.
It's much more fun to watch now that I've been doing it a while. It's kind of hypnotizing. I love browsing in the mugshot gallery to see other people.
I can't decide if she actually thought it was a bad dream or not. When I said something about her nightmare she told me she didn't have a nightmare... just a dream. Maybe she was upset she woke up? It was just very weird.
Zoe wakes up pretty frequently at night... not each night... but once a night or so. Usually what she has to say doesn't make any sense. This was VERY clear... but still doesn't make sense. haha.
If only MY nightmares were so tame!
I am sorry that she was frightened. One good thing: atleast shoveling rocks frightens her and she hasn't been exposed to REALLY scary things.

It had to be the full moon this past weekend, tell Z. I had crazy dreams too!
She seemed to have plenty of them... although this is the only one she told me about. It was interesting sharing a room with her. She's quite an active sleeper. It's no wonder she always seem tired!
