I am now going to share with you the joy of motherhood AND texting all at one time. I will do this just by sharing my last 2 texts to Nick (my wonderful husband who is in Houston and is so unfortunately missing my day). Exciting right???

(5:06pm) Me - Btw we r havin a BARFTASTIC afternoon.
(5:17pm) Nick - You, or the kids?
(5:17pm) Me - I feel REALLY crappy. Zoe is barfing. Ana wants to wear the barf bucket as a hat. And it's really hot. 79 degrees in the dining room with all the windows open and fans on.
(5:59pm) Nick - Sorry to hear that.

So sorry you guys are not feeling well!
Turn the AC on... you deserve to be comfortable if you are sick and have no one to take care of you.
We don't have central air!!!! Just window units that are currently in the basement. Hopefully that will all be rectified in the near future.
Why does this kind of stuff happen when the husbands are away? While mine was gone, we had one ER trip and one doctors...arghh!
That just always seems to be how it is.
I think it's sounding like that would be the response of most Dad's. haha
We're slowly recuperating. Stomach bugs are the worst. Zoe seems to be back to her normal self... except eating less. Ana just seems cranky. And of course no matter how crappy I feel I'm just doing the mom thing. I would have LOVED to have stayed in bed a little longer this morning... but oh well.
