I sometimes feel like I'm spending all of my time playing catch up.
Catching up with blog writing.
Catching up with blog reading.
Catching up with laundry.
Catching up with sleep.
Catching up with random errands.
Catching up with Zoe and Ana and all of their antics.
Catching up with Nick and his random business trips.
Catching up with the calendar and the quickly filling boxes... and quickly passing days.
I have so much catching up to do that sometimes I feel like I can barely catch my breath.
I have so much I NEED to do that I can't seem to get to.
I have so much I WANT to do that I can't find the time for.
But... I also want to forget it all and just sit on a swing with the girls. Sipping ice tea. Getting sprinkled by the sprinkler. Giggling.
That's a much prettier picture than my to do list.
Girls, swings, tea, sprinklers, giggles.
Can you see it?
I'll never catch up.

I feel like that so very often... but you are right. Swinging and drinking iced tea are so much more important. Your children will remember that and not whether or not the laundry was caught up.
Oh I HEAR you. I have JUST come back to the blog after over a YEAR. It's crazy how time flies. I have a hard time staying caught up. It will never be done. But its nice to know I'm not the ONLY one who feels this way. (It's good to "read" you again!)
Yeah! i can see that! you are working hard on your blog, you are giving time to your home. After all, you have very busy life.
I wish I could figure out just how to accept the fact that I'm forever behind. I suppose it's better to believe I just might catch up... or I might give up! lol
We still have to figure out a date to get together!!! Before we know it summer will be over.
On the one hand I'm so sorry everybody has this constantly behind feeling... but on the other hand I'm SO glad I'm not alone!!!

Sometimes I think I should just stay away from the blog for a while. Maybe it would help me catch up?

yeah...i'm trying to play catch up this week, but i'm not really stressing about it. if i get caught up, great. if not, great. :-)
I can say I DID get my google reader cleared out today. Did a lot of reading... some skipping... a tiny bit of commenting.
And the laundry is done (for today). So... I feel slightly accomplished.
That said... I'm just so glad to hear I'm not alone in feeling behind!
I actually just made it through all of the posts in my google reader today. Not that I really read ALL of them. And I only commented on a few.
I have to delete some subscriptions I think.
I have finally come to the realization that I won't ever catch up either, I just now need to accept that (LOL)!
